Composite fillings

White filling resins are matched to be the same colour as your teeth and are therefore used where the patient desires a natural appearance. The ingredients are mixed and placed directly into the cavity where they harden. Teeth can then be repaired seamlessly with white fillings which have replaced the metal amalgam fillings (silver fillings). Our ranges of cosmetic fillings are mercury free and designed to suit your aesthetic needs.

A composite resin is used on the affected tooth or teeth. It is moulded and sculpted over an adhesive gel that is placed on the tooth. After the resin has been applied, an ultraviolet light is used to harden the resin, which is then polished to give you a fresh, new smile. We choose to use the most reliable in advanced techniques and the finest materials in order to provide you with seamless restorations that will be as close to the natural tooth in appearance to last you for many years to come. Due to advances in tooth coloured restorative materials and bonding agents in recent years, we do not see the need to use dental amalgam any longer. We stand proud to provide Amalgam- Free services.
